07 juli Batman movie reviewI finally saw Batman Begins last weekend. All my friends were right, this movie rocked!! It is easily the best Batman movie of the last few. I'm still a big fan of the two featuring Michael Keaton as Batman.
 This movie, I think, saved the Batman movie franchise. The preivous two were so bad. Batman Begins was nice and dark, just as a Batman movie should be. Batman was quiet, strong, and somewhat mysterious. The new batmobile was just awesome!! Great fight scenese too!!I hope they make a sequel!!!
I am sooo going to buy this movie on DVD. Heck, I wouldnt' mind seeing it again. I've heard that seeing it on the ultrascreen (old IMAX screen) at Crosswoods is just amazing. Bewitched movie reviewI saw Bewitched about two weeks ago. I was somewhat disappointed with this movie. I expected a much funnier movie, especially since Will Ferrell was one of the stars. The movie was overall pretty good though. It was a good date movie. Nicole Kidman was pretty good. Her character's ditzyness was a little annoying though. I will likely not be purchasing this movie when it is released on DVD. 23 juni Cinderella Man and Mr. and Mrs. Smith movie reviewI've seen Cinderella Man and Mr. and Mrs. Smith the last two weekends. Cinderella Man is pretty good. The story and acting are good. It isn’t as much of a boxing movie as I had hoped it would be. I would say it has more drama in it than the trailers lead me to believe. Overall, a good movie but probably not a DVD purchase for me. Mr. and Mrs. Smith was a fun movie to see. Let’s face it, the movie is really a way to get Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on screen together. And, for the most part, it works. Jolie is just freakin’ hot almost the entire time she’s on screen. The story is, well, basically pretty stupid. But, it’s fun to watch too. There are some pretty cool gun fights and a solid car chase (it’s not Matrix car chase for sure though). Some BMW 3-series cars get all jacked up!! I would say it is a movie worthy of a DVD purchase, if for nothing else to show of your sound system. |
